How to Lose Weight and Keep it Off!

October 5th 2008 01:08
I've published my first Ebook. It was fun, it was easy and I heartily recommend Lulu.com for anyone else who wants to slide easily into publishing. Of course, I'm not sure if this will ever make me any money, but what the hay, it was fun to try it out. Really Long Link

Check out the link and see what you think. I have credibility for this subject. I've dropped several sizes and will never go up to the higher sizes again. I know how to do, because I'm living it right now and will live it forever. I know lots of people drop a few kilograms and they're thrilled. Then life intervenes and the diet gets dropped as fast as the kilos were, and the weight heads up again. I know that life, I lived it for most of my adult life.

Then I learnt the secret, and I've never dieted again. I've reached my ideal weight though, and stayed there for a year or more. I can't imagine I will ever be fat again!

Recently I thought I would like to share my success with others, so they too can got off the diet treadmill, and live a more normal life, with no need to obsessively weigh food, or count calories.

If I feel like chocolate, I have it. I don't madly jog and wreck my joints. I live the life I really want to live, and my clothes fit better than they ever have before! My book will give anybody who is serious about reaching their ideal weight clues and tips to help them achieve their goal.

I like to cook, I hate to do strenuous exercise, and I like to help people. For a small amount of money, you too could be on your way to a happier, slimmer life!

Carolyn,

Though I'm a bit late, congrats on writing your first e-book! Hope it's selling! I've a feeling it has a lot to offer those people who are stuck on the dieting roller coaster.

Best wishes,
Jeanne

Thanks Jeanne for you kind words.
I haven't checked my sales, but I suspect they are low - that's the way my writing career goes - lots of fun and not much money - but hey, I'm a poet, I don't expect any better!
It's not about the money, it's about the writing.

I wonder if there aren't some practical ways you can garner some exposure for your e-book. If no one knows about it, no one can purchase it. It really is reasonably priced.

Perhaps LinkedIn might be one place to advertise your writing services, as well as your e-book. I've just joined, myself, and have written a post about it at Writer's Notes.

Good luck!
Jeanne

Hi Morgan. I only eat really good chocolate, and I eat it slowly and not very often. I eat it like Nigella eats everything, sensuously, and with much licking of fingertips. I don't eat cheap chocolate, ever, and I don't eat anything I don't feel like eating, unless it's something I know I have to eat to stay healthy.

I don't go on a diet, I've changed my lifestyle around. If you go on a diet, you'll so go off the diet.
