Autumn Serenity

The picture of the rug I posted earlier today proves how important good lighting is in the creation of good photography.
The rug is so much better in daylight than it looks on the screen. On the screen you can't snuggle under it with family either, and you can't feel the softness and the interesting textural differences in the yarns.
Autumn Serenity as presented on this website is a metaphor for the importance of 'real life' versus what's on the screen. In real life the rug is a thing of beauty and usefulness - it is an icon of my creative household skills perhaps, and is is certainly a joy to look at, feel, hold. Lovely!
Next thing for me might be photographic lighting lessons!
