Earning Money, Wearing Slippers

Have you ever wondered about who writes advertising copy? Have you ever wanted to get into writing copy for ads?
Well an easy and profitable way to try out writing ads to see if you like it, is to put paid ads on your own blog.
Two websites I know to be reputable are Sponsored Reviews and Blogsvertise. I know they are reputable because I have been posting ads through them this year, and my PayPal account is finally looking good.
It is quite simple, you register with the company, with details of the blog or blogs you want to use, they check out your blog/s to make sure they have been going for long enough (three months), and that the blog is not just a money making blog with little unique content.
If they approve your blog, usually within 72 hours, you check out what advertisers are looking for, apply for jobs that look interesting then wait to see if they want to advertise on your blog.
An advertiser will accept your blog if they like it, and the job is yours. You then have to write the blog post, adding in the link words they will tell you to, and make sure you link the words to the appropriate website.
Once you have written the post and put it on your blog, do your own check to make sure the links work. Then you add the website address to the form and wait. The money will arrive in your PayPal account in two weeks to a month, depending on the company’s payment policy.
You can ask your own price for your ads, depending on the guidelines and rules. The higher the PR of your blog, the more money you can ask, but the higher asking price might not get you as many jobs.
It is best to start low and raise your price as you become more familiar with the way it all works. With a PR of 4 or higher you could be asking up to one hundred dollars for a 200-300 word post. Easy money if you can get it!
