I've got cold feet about this whole winter thing!

Does anyone else get chilblains? Does anyone know a quick and cheap way to get rid of chilblains.
I've been searching for a super quick cure on the internet, because I am afflicted, yet again, with chilblains. My blood doesn't always work terribly hard at getting to my tootsies, and my toes consequently swell up and go bright read and then purple in response. This is called chilblains.
Most winters, when the winter is pretending it's almost spring, I get chilblains. I don't get them as soon as it's winter, but now, almost into the last month of winter. And because of this, I usually forget what I put on my toes the previous year to make the chilblains go away.
And so, my question. How can I quickly get rid of them? On the internet I found several references to urinating on them, or soaking my toes in urine. Well, I'm a lady you know, I would never do that.
I can't get to a chemist before tomorrow. I guess I'll have to put on another pair of socks and put up with them.
