My Other Blogs

March 31st 2009 04:05
I've just posted a new post to one of my Blogger blogs, Puppy's Mum Says and hope for some comments there. Bur comments don't seem to be happening for me on any of my blogs yet.

I'll keep slaving away over the hot keyboard, and trust in the brilliance of my words to inspire people to talk to me! I'm still very much enjoying my blogging, and connecting with the broader online community, so the lack of comments won't stop me from blogging (yet).

Because I'm blogging on a range of things, it's keeping me interested. It's like any writing I do, I range from articles to poetry and short stories, up to my major WIP, my novel. I listen to the radio (always ABC Radio National) and I tap, tap, tap at the keyboard.

If I need some light relief I check out Twitter or Facebook, and sometimes I get really anal and check my earnings on Adsense and other sources of real live cash. (well I'm assuming it's real live cash.)

And for a real welcome back to reality, there's always the dogs, barking at the birds, growling at each other through the sliding door, or coming over for a pat. And for a bit of Nature, this morning I wandered down to the goldfish pond. I didn't see any fish, but I'm hoping there's still the three left. It's a deep pond and there are lots of waterlillies. There's no telling what's down there.

Coffee time now, and I'm still waiting for the ABC to get onto proper programming, they're been playing background music for hours now! Come on Aunty, get on with it!

What a question to ask a person who claims to be 'writing a novel?' It's only just at the beginning second draft stage, and what it's about is it's about 25k words too small.

See my next post on Light Within for a better answer.

im writing a novel . . . very, very, very slowly!
i describe it as "a bunch of anecdotes from my life", or "a short novel" or "it has an urban setting" haha
basically i dont know myself!
ill check out your latest post . . .

I find it hard to say what something is about that I'm writing. I know people more learned than me argue what books are about, for years and years.

I certainly didn't know what the novel I'm working on was about until I had the first draft written.
