Don't get your knickers in a twist!
April 30th 2009 23:54
I’m married with a 15 year old son. I don’t have a full time job, so the task of buying underwear for the family is my task. My husband is of the age to value comfort over fashion, while my teenaged son values fashion over comfort, but not completely. His underwear needs to look good, not geeky or nerdy or gay.
But it also needs to feel OK. There’s nothing worse than wearing undies that strangle you, or ride up your bum. For teenagers though, there’s nothing worse also, than looking nerdy, unless it’s because you’re a computer nerd, that’s an OK look.
I am pleased to have found Diesel. They have a broad range of underwear to suit the men in the family, and also have lovely underwear items to entice me to give them a try. Looking at the items on the website gives me ideas about what I could/should be looking for at the stores where I currently buy the family’s underwear or maybe it is time to stop buying discount store undies and get into buying them online instead.
I have a few issues with buying things online though, a few fears, some of them baseless, some of them real things to be concerned about. I’ve checked out this website though and they certainly look reputable. But I’ve also checked out the shipping fee to Australia, and that is the point where they have probably lost me as a client. It will cost me $60.00 for the first order, and $20.00 for each additional items. That’s an expensive pair of undies. But gee, they sure look good!
It’s been fun dreaming about the whole thing, but I think the next time I have to get some more underwear for anyone in the family, it will be back to Big W. I can dream though, there’s no harm in dreaming, is there? They sure look good, both the men’s and women’s underwear.

That's unless he changes his mind and decides to be a lazy sit at home and do nothing no-good-nik like his mother!

The Swine Flu fear may be the straw that breaks the pig farmers back. They've had it tough for a while now, and if any of them out there care to employ me to help raising their profile, I am here waiting.
Have you been stalking me Morgan? You've got a fair bit of content out there online yourself!
I just love writing. My husband and darling child would like it if I had a 'proper' job. I'm not so sure, although I did apply for a 'proper' job the other day, still waiting to hear from them.

I'm up for it! If you can figure out a way to make money at the same time, so much the better.
