Well, the previous owners of our new kitchen are coming to our place this afternoon. Clare, my sister-in-law said yesterday she's like to see what we've done with her old kitchen.
I said, sure, that'd be great, and immediately started planning the tidy up for the next day. So far, I've washed the dishes, put most of the dishes away, wiped out the dual sinks, put away the slow cooker I still haven't decided the fate of, replaced a daggy cloth with an attractive tray.
The floors need a bit of a clean, the rest of the dishes put away, muffins made. I have to put dogs away (I'll feed them first), get my poetry organised for my group tonight, what else?
Um have lunch - son and I are having KFC for lunch in place of a main meal for dinner (husband interstate tonight, back tomorrow night). Having KFC means driving to Gawler which is 25km away - closest outlet - there's other things closer, but I really feel like KFC, and I've been cleaning stuff, so I deserve it. Son has been doing homework (and it's the school holidays!!!) so he deserves it too.
