wolves at the door

Well, I spent three hours at one of the Gawler Pubs last Friday night, all by myself, scribbling away in my notebook. My werewolf story is taking shape and with any luck, this one could be my ticket into bestseller status!
I don't believe that, of course, I'm just trying to build up my confidence in the project. I am a bit excited about it - it is quite different from the other ms I am working on, and I feel I can do both concurrently. I may be delusional, but that is hardly a new thing for me!
Anyway, I am taking the werewolf story somewhere different, and I hope I can pull this one off. Wolves at the door (working title) has friendship, fine food, werewolves and a serial killer who must be stopped. Adelaide doesn't need any more nasty killers lurking around.
I haven't got into any werewolf characters yet, but I'm only up to about 2,000 words. I do have dogs, and a main character who is worried about the knife situation.
